Old and Older
The skyline of Havana as seen from the fortress El Morro, built in 1589 to defend the harbor below.
A very distinctive feature of the Pima County courthouse in downtown Tucson, built in the 1920's.
Internet is hard to come by in Cuba. But anywhere with an access point, we found groups of people communicating with their phones, and occassionally tablets or computers.
Bend in the Road
Buildings stacked up above the narrow road along the Amalfi Coast. The view is magnificant but not something the drivers should be watching.
The afternoon of our third workshop day was spent at a working western movie set (they had just finished an Adam Sandler film). This is one of the set built for a film along the way with one member of our class taking a closer shot.
An old downtown Tucson theater still hosting shows.
At the Summer Palace.
Learning the Language
These kids were visiting the Palace wearing matching jackets and carrying matching umbrellas declaring them to be part of a language learning program.
This was our home for the three days in Trinidad. Actually, it's someone else's home that they shared with us. According to the guide book, the town has more than 400 casa particulars with rooms to rent.
Ok, so this is a picture postcard shot. But I like it. Besides, it was one of the few nice days we had during the week.

Making an Entrance
The bride accompanied by her father (I assume), slowly ascends the stairs into Amalfi's Saint Andrew's Cathedral. All of it captured by the photographer and his assistant at the top, and lots of other visitors.
If Kathy can take pictures of puddles, so can I. :-)
Engaged couples in China commonly hire a photographer to compile a wedding album before the actual ceremony. We saw lots of them working along the shore in Qingdao.
One little boy in the group recognized him from the Harry Potter movies.
Ribbon of Light
Sunlight coming through a break in the awning over the amphitheater at the Alamo.
Umbella and Shadows
Along the San Antonio river walk.
Crusing into Positano
The last stop on the way to the island of Capri. The woman got in the shot by accident but she makes it an even nicer picture.
